The Varsity boys golf team competed in the Clear Creek Wildcat Invitational at Moody Gardens Golf Course on Friday and Saturday. The team, consisting of Riley Williams, Ryan Grube, Clayton Bonner, Ian Cerisano and Joe Hernandez overcame a 13 stroke deficit to win by one stroke over Kingwood with a team score of 630.
Junior, Joe Hernandez lead the team with scores of 81, 74 to place 8th of 58 players.?
After school today there will be a mandatory student council meeting in g117, there is also a make-up meeting Tuesday morning at 645am in g117. If you can’t make it to either meeting, please stop by and see Mrs. Geise.

Your Varsity Girls Track Team competed at Strake Jesuit this past Saturday and finished well among many competitive Teams!!!
Isaly Carney took 1st Place in the Triple Jump! Your 3rd Place finishers include; The 4x400 Meter Relay Team of Isaly Carney, Mia Hayes, Jessica Ransom, and Baylie Jones, the 4x200 Meter Relay Team of Isaly Carney, Mia Hayes, Haley Savage, and Mae Wydeka, and Hannah Zajac in the High Jump. Other scorers for the team included the 4x100 Meter Relay Team of Jessica Ransom, Adrina Stevenson, Haley Savage, and Mae Wydeka, the Distance Medely Team of Hailey Chorn, Jessica Ransom,
in the Shot Put and in the Discus.

The CCISD/NASA robotic Team 118 won the San Antonio Alamo Regional! Team 118, proudly known as The Robonauts, was represented by 51 CCISD high school students from throughout the district. Clear Creek student members included: Kirana Bercich, Nathan Buchanan, Todd Fanders, Marcus Isnard, Luis Larrosa, Mason Moreland, Alex Morlan, Brice Roark, and Ethan Sizelonve.. The Robonauts won 16 straight matches to win the tournament with their two alliance teams hailing from Katy, Texas and Honolulu, Hawaii. The team also won the "Engineering Excellence" award, based on the creativeness, quality, and performance of their robot. This win qualifies The Robonauts for the FRC World Championships in St. Louis in late April.

The Men's Soccer team took on Clear Falls on Friday night.
The JV Maroon team beat Falls 3-0 with goals from Daniel Aviles, Justin Pacilio, and Alberto Zepeda. Luis Martinez got the shutout in the goal.
The Varsity team tied 0-0 with Carlos Ramirez earning another shutout and another victory in the penalties!!
The next game will be Tuesday night at Dickinson.
The varsity tennis team competed in the Spring Branch Varsity Invitational this weekend and outstanding play came from the following: ?Chris Crookston and Sophia Brito place 2nd in "B" Mixed Doubles?Tyler Norman and Tory Templin placed 2nd in "B" Boys Doubles?and Brian Martin placed 1st in "B" Boys Singles??
The Cavaliers competed at Cy Falls High School this past weekend. The team won 2nd place in contemporary, 2nd place in jazz, 3rd place in kick, and are state champions for pom. They also received a choreography award for team pom, elite circle award, and are the 2nd place state of champions. The officers won 2nd place in contemporary, 2nd place in jazz, and 3rd place in lyrical. They received a crowd pleasers award and are the 3rd place state of champions. The social committee won 3rd place state of champions and an audience crowd pleasers award. Jazz Company and Sr. Hip Hop won 2nd place in their ensembles. Kyly Frias and Sherri Gonzalez won 3rd place in their duet. Sherri Gonzalez is the senior solo state champion. Congratulations to the Cavaliers on a fantastic end to their competition season.
The Clear Creek participated in a UIL Invitational Meet at Galveston Ball High School and the National Forensics League District Tournament for Congressional Debate held at Mayde Creek High School, this past weekend. At Galveston, Chelse Tillman placed 1 in Poetry, Sahar Jiwani placed 2nd in Informative Speaking, Justyce Yuille place 4th in Prose, Claire Berlinger placed 4th in Persuasive Speaking, Sebastian Breaux placed 6th in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Arsheen Virani placed 6th in Storytelling, and Brendan Hudspeth placed 8th in Persuasive Speaking. At Mayde Creek, Cameron Littleton placed 1st and Logan Ellis placed 2nd in Congressional Debate qualifying them for the NFL National Tournament June 15-20 in Kansas. Congratulations to all those who participated.
