Student council members this afternoon at 2:45 we will have our meeting in g-117.
Those who cannot attend please come to the make-up meeting at 6:45 am in E-111.
The varsity girls basketball team beat Clear Brook 46-36 Friday night to keep their playoff hopes alive. Mia Hayes, Keondra White, and Hannah Froeschl had 8 points each. Kayla Meyers added 6 points and Lacee Savage and Alex Simmons contributed 5 points. Caitlyn Burroway led the team in rebounding with 8. Congratulations to all of the Lady Wildcats on a great team win! They travel to Brazoswood tomorrow and will be back home in Butler Gym Friday to host Clear Springs.
The freshman "A" girls basketball team beat Clear Brook 34-17 Friday night. Harley Everts led the team with 12 points and Hailey Chorn, Alyson Stafford, Jada Dale and Sidney Plunkett had 4 points each. Congratulations to Coach Dennis and the freshman "A" Lady Wildcats on a great team win!
The freshman "B" girls basketball team beat Clear Brook 17-15 Friday night. Aaliyah Thomas led the team with 8 points and Miranda Castillo hit two 3-pointers to help secure the win. Congratulations to Coach Lynch and the freshman "B" Lady Wildcats on a great team win!
On Saturday, eight choir students traveled to Deer Park HS to compete in the annual All-State Choir auditions. Mr. Stultz and I are ecstatic to announce that all 8 students were selected for an All-State Choir.That's an incredible statistic that will be difficult to repeat again.

The Theatre Department invites you to attend its Winter Show this Thursday-Saturday at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium. The performance will feature two short comedies titled "La Dispute" and "The Diary of Adam & Eve". Admission will be $5 at the door and concessions will be sold by the Drama Booster Club.

The Creek Debate Team traveled to Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio this past weekend; where they competed against 68 schools in multiple events with over 100 entries in most. Chelse Tillman placed 3rd in Prose interpretation and advanced to Octofinals in Humorous Interpretation earning her qualification for the National Individual Event Tournament of Champions. Cameron Littleton placed 4th in Congressional Debate earning his qualification for the National Tournament of Champions for Debate in Kentucky, Cameron also advanced to semi-finals in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking earning a bid to the Tournament of Champions for Extemp in Chicago. Lucca Timmerman and Logan Ellis placed 4th in Public Forum Debate, Logan also received 5th place Best Speaker Award. Lucca along with Sahar Jiwani also advanced to Semi-finals in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking receiving their second bid and qualifying for the Tournament of Champions for Extemp. Christina Morrison, Sean Barnett, Meagan Puckett, and Claire Berlinger, advanced to quarterfinals in Extemporaneous Speaking earning a Tournament of Champions Bid. Sebastian Breaux advanced to quarterfinals in Humorous Interpretation and earn one bid to the Individual Event Tournament of Champions. Congratulations to all who participated and all who qualified for the National Tournament.
