The Clear Creek football team defeated Clear Lake 42-10 Friday night. The team would like to thank everyone who came out for their support during the game and all the Homecoming activities. Come support the Wildcat football team this Thursday night as they play Clear Falls at 7 PM.
Reminder to all FFA members our October FFA meeting is tomorrow night, Tuesday October 1st, at 6:30 PM in Mrs. Terry's room. We will be serving desserts so please bring a pumpkin and come enjoy some desserts!

On Saturday, 51 choir members (over a third of our program!) travelled to Angleton High School to compete in the first of two rounds to the All-Region Choir and the first of four rounds to the All-State Choir. Mr. Stultz and I are excited to announce that 29 of our choir students advanced past the first audition and are guaranteed a spot in one of the three All-Region Choirs. These students have been working on the hardest level of music for weeks, and in some cases months, in preparation for this audition. On Saturday, every student auditioned musical excerpts for a panel of 5 judges, and the top-ranked students advanced to the Region Auditions (later in October). The next round determines which of the three Region Choirs each student is in as well as which students advance to round 3 of the All-State Auditions. We are very excited to have such a large number of students advance and secure a spot in a Region Choir.

The University of Colorado will be visiting the College Center tomorrow at 12:30 and Texas A & M on Wednesday at 9:00.

The Clear Creek Debate team successfuly competed at Clear Falls this weekend. Congratulations go out to the following people. Conner Kremer placed 1st in prose, 1st in impromptu, 3rd in storytelling, and 4th in Extemp. Fizza Gilani placed 1st in Congress. Mujahid Ewell placed 2nd in congress, 3rd in impromptu and 1st in extemp. Asiel Velasco placed 3rd in extemp, 2nd in Prose, and 1st Story Telling; Chris Herrera placed 3rd in congress, 4th in Storytelling, 5th in Prose, and 1st in Poetry. Amy Langston placed 2nd in storytelling, Chidi Louis placed 4th in congress and 5th in storytelling and Samantha McGovern placed 6th in storytelling and 7th in extemp. Congratulations to you all.

PINK WEEK AT CREEK will be here before we know it! The student athletic trainers have done an excellent job with their fundraiser this year and look forward to the next. If you pre-ordered a shirt, it will be delivered this week. We have a few extra pink shirts (medium and large), email me if you want to buy a shirt. I will hang a sample of the shirt in the mail room. Thank you again for supporting the student athletic trainers and breast cancer.

There will be a Spanish Club meeting tomorrow after tutorials in Ms. Varsos’ room.
Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Creek will be having a PSAT prep course each of the next two Saturdays, 9:00-4:00. Both courses are limited to 30 students and both courses are already 2/3 full due to pre-registration. Regular registration begins today.
To register bring a $65 check made out to C.C.H.S. to room D107 before or after school. Either of these courses may be full by tomorrow, so don’t delay. However DO NOT come during class or have your parent drop off a check in the main office. The only way to register is in person with payment before or after school in D107.
