The varsity volleyball team finished 2nd out of 18 teams at the Kingwood tournament this past weekend. This is the highest finish the team has had in a tournament in 5 years. Melissa Gaffney, melody Horton and Mariah Pardo all made the all tournament team. This week the team travels to Katy on Tuesday and Alvin on Friday.
Student Council Meeting tomorrow at 2:30 in Ms. Geise’s room, G117
There will be a HOSA meeting Sept 4th Wednesday, after school in G-124, Mrs. Elcure’s room. HOSA is a club for future healthcare professionals.

Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors:
For the first time ever—and for this week only—you may pre-register for any of our fall PSAT or SAT prep courses. Simply bring your full payment of $65 for the PSAT course and $90 for the SAT prep course to room D107 before or after school.
The JV Maroon team played Ridge Point at home last Friday and came away with a hard fought victory 19 to 14. The defense shut Ridge Point out in the second half and the offense scored the go ahead touchdown in the 4thquarter. The JV Maroon team would like to thank everyone who came out and supported them.
If you sponsor a club and/or have a booster club for your organization, please take note of the following information pertaining to upcoming dates and deadlines.
? There is registration paperwork that must be on file for all clubs and organizations. This paperwork is available from Laurie Delesandri in B100. Please have this completed no later than Friday, September 6th.
? There will be a meeting for all Booster Clubs on Wednesday, September 18th at 2:45 p.m. in the auxiliary cafeteria. If your Booster Club will be participating in the Homecoming Carnival (September 27th), a representative must be in attendance at this meeting.
? If your organization is planning on facilitating a fundraiser, this must be approved through the B100’s priorto the start of the fundraising (this includes promoting the fundraiser).

Reminder to any student interested in participating in the CCISD Livestock show there is a mandatory rules meeting this Thursday September 5 at 6:30 PM in the auditorium.

The student athletic trainers are have their first annual “Pink Week at Creek” fundraiser. The student athletic trainers are selling shirts (not during school hours) to raise money for MD Anderson Cancer Center and the athletic training program. We are taking pre-orders for shirts until September 13, 2013. You may purchase your shirt(s) from any student athletic trainer or buy filling out the order form attached to this email. I am also attaching a flyer for you to hang in your classroom. I will place some blank order forms in the mail room soon. Let me know if you have any questions.
Shirts will be pink with white writing, once I have the final design I will send it out.
Pink Week at Creek will be the week of October 7-11. We are asking you to wear your pink for the football game on Thursday, October 10 vs Dickinson and/ or at the volleyball game on Friday, October 11 vs Falls.
