Project Graduation Lunch invites you to come out to celebrate the start of spring with our Berrylicious Yogurt. We will be selling 50 as a field test to see if we want to add it to our regular menu. Flavors include Cake Batter, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. This will also be our last week of potatoes. Project Grad DECA, the student marketing association, will meet Monday in Room D125, after school. This is an important meeting to plan end of year social and nominate officers for the upcoming school year.
Doris Camp Your Varsity Girls Track Team traveled to C.E. King High School yesterday and took Second Place Overall.
Valerie Paul took 1st Place in the Shot Put, Rachel Duncavage took 2nd Place in the Discus, Christian Whitten took 2nd Place in the Pole Vault, Baylie Jones took 2nd Place in the 800 Meter Run and the 1600 Meter Run, Mia Hayes took 2nd in the 400 Meter Run, The 4x100 Meter Relay Team of Jessica Ranson, Adrina Stevenson, Taylor Garcia, and Mae Wydaka took 2nd Place, Cassie Carmichael got 3rd in the Shot Put, Islay Carney got 3rd Place in the Triple Jump, Liz Maldonado got 3rd Place in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Taylor Garcia took 3rd Place in the 400 Meter Run, the 4x200 Meter Relay Team of Jessica Ranson, Adrina Stevenson, Taylor Garcia, and Mae Wydaka took 3rd Place, and the 4x400 Meter Relay Team of Isaly Carney, Mia Hayes, Taylor Garcia, and Baylie Jones took 3rd Place. Other team members that scored points and contributed to the team’s success were Lauren Sawyer in the Discus, Mae Wydaka in the Long Jump, and Liz Maldonado in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
Your JV Girls Track Team traveled to Clear Springs yesterday to compete with Lake, Brook, Falls, Springs, Friendswood, Dickinson, and Pearland.
The 4x200 Meter Relay Team of Sheria Sowell, Haley Savage, Taylor Klock, and Gabbi Vargas took 3rd Place and the 4x400 Meter Relay Team of Taylor Klock, Gabbi Vargas, Courtney Leonard, and Haley Savage also took 3rd Place in the Relay.
