This past weekend in Katy, Senior, Bryson Stevens, placed 2nd in the Texas High School Bowling Club Region VIII Single Qualifying Tournament. Bryson knocked down 1042 pins after 5 games to earn him a trip to State! The State Championship Bowling Tournament will be played in Fort Worth on the weekend of March 23! Bryson is the 5th consecutive State Qualifier, in as many years, from the Clear Creek Bowling Club. Good luck at State Bryson!

This Wednesday March 6^th is the last day to request VOE’s before Spring Break.  Request may resume when we return on March 18^th.  In order for students to receive a VOE you must have been in attendance 90% of the time and received credit the last full semester.  Also, any current outstanding fines/fees must be cleared.

Jana Williams

Congratulations to the FFA Meat Judging Team as they participated in the Houston Livestock Show Meat Judging Contest and won 3^rd place out of 58 teams. The team consisted of Hunter deMasi, Michaela Pinder, Shannon Oquinn, and Lauren Parker.   Also Hunter deMasi was 17^th Shannon Oquinn was 15^th and Michaela Pinder was 7^th place individual.

The Clear Creek Varsity Boys Golf team competed in the Clear Creek Varsity Invitational, Friday/Saturday, March 1/2 at Moody Gardens Golf Club.

The team, consisting of Ryan Grube, Clayton Bonner, Riley Williams, Moore Whittington and James Driver, finished in a tie for second  place with Clear Falls after regulation play with a combined team score of 667. Clear Creek won the team playoff against Clear Falls by one stroke.

Earning top 10 finishes are Sophomore, Ryan Grube, who placed 7th, and Freshman, Riley Williams finishing 10th for the tournament.
