The Last day for GET-In-GEAR will be Thursday, December 13th. Get-in-Gear will NOT be held during the week of Semester exams. Students are encouraged to attend the afterschool study hall for tutorial assistance. Get-In-Gear will resume January 15th.
Clear Creek's Winter Ball will be on January 19, 2013, at The Centurion Palace on 646 in League City, from 8pm until midnight. Seniors and juniors from Clear Creek may bring a guest from another class at Clear Creek or from another school. Tickets may be purchased Saturdays December 15, January 5, and January 12, at Berrylicious, from 11am to 2pm. Each ticket is $50 for general seating or $60 for reserved seating. A student ID is required to purchase tickets. You may pay by cash or with a check made out to Clear Creek High Project Graduation.
Congratulations to the Clear Creek Men and Womaen's Wrestling Teams for their great showing at the 32 Team Cy-Ridge Invitational Wrestling Tournament this past Friday And Saturday.
Special Congratulations to Randy Toldeo on his 2nd Place Finish and to Landon Abbott on his 6th place finish
There will be a student council meeting tomorrow morning at 6:45. All member need to attend, we will be discussing all projects for the month of December and for next semester. Also If you want to apply to join student council for the spring semester please attend.
THERE WILL BE AN ART CLUB MEETING ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 10TH IN ROOM F108 AT 2:45. WE WILL BE CREATING HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS AND DECORATING VARIOUS AREAS OF THE SCHOOL. PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND AND BRING A HOLIDAY SNACKS LIKE COOKIES, CHIPS/DIP, OR ANYTHING ELSE YUMMY. DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED. THIS WILL ALSO BE OUR LAST MEETING BEFORE THE WINTER BREAK SO LETS GO OUT WITH A BANG!
The Clear Creek Debate team competed this past weekend at Clear Brook High School. Katelynn Barba and Rachel Petitti placed 3rd in Duo Interpretation, Maegan Hall placed 3rd in Poetry, Cameron Littleton placed 3rd in Impromptu Speaking. Cameron also placed 1st in Group Improvisation with Sahar Jiwani and Savannah Stevens. Savannah also placed 6th in Novice Prose. Students advancing to Semi-Finals were: Logan Ellis, Sean Bennett, Meagan Puckett, Alexis Gabbard, Jennifer Lumpkin, Claire Berlinger, Christina Morrison, Heather Keenan, and Lauren Ronquille.
Please come out to support these students as they bring a Semester of great work to a close!
