Elizabeth Updegraff This past weekend the Freshman A Boy's Basketball team traveled to Alvin and came home as Consolation winners. The boys played a tough Manvel team and lost in the first round 69 to 67. On Saturday, the boy's bounced back and beat Pearland Dawson 63 to 54. In the consolation game the boys played the Clear Springs Chargers and won by a final score of 55 to 43. The wins were an all around team effort and the basketball team will be back on the court tomorrow night against Sam Rayburn. Great Job Wildcats! The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting next Monday at 6:32 in Carlisle Field House. Come out and have some fun while hearing a great message. If you have any questions please contact Coach Carroll in D132 or Coach Bartel in Portable 5. Thank you very much and have a great day. Zackary Bartel

Eight of our students were ranked in the top 5 in their voice part in our Region and are advancing to the Area Auditions (the final of four rounds of solo auditions in pursuit of our equivalent to a solo state title). Natalie Voges Terry, Ag Science Teacher As many of you know, the Spanish Club is selling Pulseras (bracelets) to benefit a program called the Pulsera Project. Over the past couple of years, the program has grown tremendously in creating new opportunities for the communities in Nicaragua to create sustained jobs and promote education. If you didn’t have the opportunity to see the video or show it to your advisory students, please take a look! Also, if you have a minute or two, please encourage your students to come purchase a Pulsera for $5 in the cafeteria during their lunch. We will be selling them today and tomorrow. Thank you for your support of the CCHS Spanish Club!
