10.12.09
CREEKSTERS--HOW ABOUT SHOWING OUR COMMUNITY WHICH HIGH SCHOOL IN LEAGUE CITY HAS THE MOST SCHOOL SPIRIT?

STU CO WILL LITERALLY BE PAINTING LEAGUE CITY MAROON FROM HWY 3 TO THE SCHOOL NEXT WEEK. THEY WILL BE PAINTING WINDOWS AND PUTTING UP SIGNS TO SHOW THE CHARGERS WHO OWNS THIS TOWN.

We are challenging the other organizations, teams, and clubs to show their Creek Pride as well. How do you do this? Design and post signs, flyers and posters to post on campus from Oct 12-15th. For example, DECA supports Our Wildcats!! or NHS says BEAT THE CHARGERS!

I have the paint and some paper if you would like to borrow it. We want signs in the hallways, in classrooms and all over the cafeteria showing our Creek Pride. The signs should not be on windows or outside the building. The slogans should support Creek only. They need to be sent to my office for approval prior to posting. These signs can be posted Monday-Wednesday.

Thursday, Oct 15th at 9:15 there will be a condensed PEP RALLY ON THE PATIO. So when you get finished with your LAD go to the patio and join the student body in this event.

GO WILDCATS; BEAT THE CHARGERS!!!

This week is National DECA week. CCHS's DECA chapter will be celebrating DECA week with a DECA Ping Pong Game in the cafeteria on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Test your skills for only $1.00! All proceeds will go to League City's Interfaith Caring Ministries.

DECA will also celebrate national DECA week with extended school store hours. We will be open after school EVERY day from 2:30-2:45. Stop by for your after school snack!

There will be a very important DECA meeting after school today in D125. See Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Camp if you cannot attend.

The schedule for Wednesday will resume to a regular schedule at 11:09 AM. If any adjustments should become necessary those will be made on that day.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors!

Please start checking the rosters posted on the glass windows outside the B Wing and the Library to confirm your testing location for Wednesday's PSAT. All Sophomores will take the PSAT, as well as any Juniors and Freshmen who purchased tickets. Please check the rosters for your testing location, as many of the Advisories have been moved to a different room for the test.
