Senior Class
On behalf of the senior class, I would like to ask any and everyone to donate any ties they may have that they do not use anymore. Color does not matter, we will work with whatever we get. These will be used to create senior memorabilia for our homecoming booth. We are trying to save money, so please, please, please help us if you can!

Hey Wildcats!  Next  week is the CCHS homecoming.  We have lots of great things going on.  Everyday next week is a different dress up day!  Tuesday is Hippie day, Wednesday is Super hero day, Thursday is turn around Thursday or opposite day, and Friday is Creek-Out day.  Check out our fashion show today in the courtyard during all lunches for ideas on what to wear.
Please join us for our second annual candlelight pep rally Tuesday night at district stadium.  The festivities begin at seven o'clock. See you there!
Diana Bartlett

The Freshman “A” football team

defeated Kingwood last night by a score of 19 to 16.  JP Lowery and Thomas Avalos scored touchdowns with some nice runs, and Ian Wooldridge connected with Tyler Jentzen in the end zone for another score.  Mitchell Becker provided the extra points, and did a great job with the kicking game.  The defense bounced back after giving up a touchdown on Kingwoods opening drive, and held the Mustangs running attack to only one more score the rest of the way.  Devin Brinkley had a key interception and the front four of Uriah Morin, Joshua Benjamin, Zach Fattig and Matt Valdez played well on the defensive line.   The Wildcats will face Baytown Lee next week at home.

Robert A. Wooldridge

J.V. Dark Football team

The J.V. Dark Football team traveled to Kingwood last night and come back victorious. The Wildcats started things off with a defensive score by Alex Hamm. Then the offense continued the scoring with 2 touchdowns by Dion Lewis, one by Dalton Reason, and one by Logan Jentzen. The wildcats won 34-20, and are now 2-0.
Eric Thompson
