The JROTC Program participated in the Veteran's Day Remembrance Relay to support the Lone Star Veterans Association. Teams from all five district JROTC programs competed overnight during a continuous relay race to raise money in support of this cause. The Clear Brook JROTC Team consisted of Jacob Almendarez, Tevin Sandoz, Larry Murph, Tristan Wenger, Ryan Bell, and Andrew Ayala. "The Destroyers" had the fewest members but lead the district by completing a total of 70 miles during the over night relay race. Great job Cadets!
Congratulations to the Vex robotics team! Both teams made it to the quarter finals before being eliminated. In addition, the Vex programming skills challenge consists of a 1 minute Autonomous Period which means that the robot is preprogrammed and not controlled by a driver. Currently, Clear Brook’s Toan Ngueyn (pronounced tone win) is ranked 1st in Houston and 3rd in the world, with only a team from Hawaii and a team from Singapore ahead of him by 10 points!
