COLUMBIA FALLS - The Columbia Falls girls' soccer team turned on the afterburners in the second half Friday in posting a 5-0 shutout of Northern A foe Bigfork.
Madison Sandefer netted the lone tally of the first half in the 21st minute before the high-scoring duo of Danielle Delventhal and McKenzie Kiser went to work in the early stages of the first half.
Delventhal scored twice in the opening 12 minutes of the second stanza before Kiser added back-to-back scores five minutes apart.
The victory moved Columbia Falls to 4-0-0 in league action and 6-1-0 overall.
Alexandra Dillon made 12 saves in goal for the Vals, who slipped to 0-3-0, 0-6-0.

At Columbia Falls, Dylan Corbett's second-half goal off a penalty kick helped the Wildcats forge a Northern A draw.
Robert Coyle scored an unassisted goal in the 15th minute for Bigfork (0-2-1, 0-5-1), which outshot Columbia Falls 9-8.
Mason Gildaman made six saves in goal for the Wildcats (1-2-1, 1-5-1) and Dillon Hilling stopped five shots in goal for the Vikings.
