ANACONDA - The Hamilton volleyball team had the best showing of the bunch on Friday at the Northwestern A and Southwestern A Tipoff Tournament.

The Broncs went 8-0 in pool play and will be one of the higher seeded teams going into Saturday's bracketed rounds.

Among Hamilton's victories were two-game sweeps over Frenchtown, Polson, Columbia Falls and Libby.

Fellow Southwestern A members Stevensville and tourney host Anaconda had the next best record on Friday as each went 7-3 in pool play. Whitefish (6-4) posted the best mark by a Northwestern A school.
