HAMILTON - Southwestern A Hamilton opened its volleyball season with a pair of wins over Northwestern A foes Columbia Falls and Whitefish on Saturday.
The Broncs beat Columbia Falls 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.
Penny Gwynn paced the Broncs with 11 kills. Kennedy Chadwick added seven digs and Mary Conwell dished out 20 assists.
Hope Burlage had eight assists and an ace for Columbia Falls.
The Broncs followed that up with a 25-15, 25-17, 25-21 sweep of Whitefish.
Gwynn and Rebecka Hood had 10 kills apiece for Hamilton. Hood added 10 digs and Conwell had 26 assists.
Marlow Schulz had 10 assists and two blocks for the Bulldogs.

Loyola Sacred Heart finished 12th out of 15 teams by winning four matches.
Eureka Invitational
At Eureka, the District 7-B Lions won their own tournament with a 25-19, 25-21 defeat of Troy in the championship match.
In earlier semifinal action, Eureka swept Ronan 25-15, 25-15 and Troy won its semifinal 25-22, 22-25, 15-11 over Bigfork.
