Danielle Delventhal led the way as the Wildkats powered their way to a 7-0 shutout of Frenchtown in a nonconference Class A tilt. Delventhal got Northern A Columbia Falls on the board in the first minute of play, netting a feed from Julia Burgi. Four minutes later, Delventhal tallied unassisted then added an assist to a Burgi goal two minutes into the second half. McKenzie Kiser scored twice for the Wildkats, who improved to 8-3-0. Madison Sandefer also scored for Columbia Falls, which kept the Southern A Broncs from taking a single shot on goal. Rebecca Weiss made 12 saves in goal for Frenchtown, which slipped to 1-8-2. Marissa DeMarco scored twice and added an assist, Presley Pritchard netted two goals and Sam Dittman had four assists and a goal for Whitefish (7-0-0, 10-1-0). The Bulldogs also received a goal from Caroline Carbo and one save from Madison Cross. Brianna Odland, Jaime Gilden and Jenny Johnson scored for the Loggers (1-6-0, 3-8-0). Lindsay Brassfield made two saves in earning the shutout in goal for the Yellowjackets (7-2-0, 7-4-0). Jason Englert stopped six shots in goal for the Rams (3-5-2, 3-6-3). Whitefish lost a player to a red card minutes before halftime when he hit a shot with his hand. Libby quickly capitalized with the first goal, an unassisted score by James Hare just seconds before the first half ended. The Loggers (5-0-2 conference, 8-1-2 overall) made it 2-0 on a shot by Andrew Peterson in the 47th minute. But the Bulldogs (3-3-1, 5-5-2) made a thrilling comeback, using two goals by Jack Steele, the last coming in extra time.
