Whitefish 42, Hamilton 39

At Ronan, Willie Roche and Connor Silliker each scored a dozen points to lead Northwestern A Whitefish past Southwestern A Hamilton.

Silliker and Gage Vasquez combined on nine rebounds. Vasquez scored eight points for the Bulldogs, who used an 11-5 burst in the first quarter to take control.

Tyler Pigman scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Broncs.

At Ronan, Alex Cislo and Kelly May paced the Northwestern A Loggers past Southwestern A Anaconda.

Cislo netted a team-leading 19 points while May chipped in 11.

Libby pulled ahead in the second quarter with a 15-6 burst to lead by nine at the half.

Kyle Moore's game-high 20 points weren't enough for the Copperheads.

The Vikings, who played in the Northwestern A last year, also received 16 points from Keenan Evans and 10 from Travis Knoll.

Austin Blank put in 18 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the Broncs.

At Ronan, Josh Schultz scored 20 points to lead the Yellowjackets, who came to life in the fourth quarter to knock off the Chiefs, one of the tourney's hosts.

Tyler Gavlak and Austin Kelling added 11 points each for Stevensville, which outscored Ronan 20-7 in the final frame after entering the quarter tied at 40-40.

Kevin Wroblewski tallied 15 points to lead the Chiefs.

At Ronan, a balanced attack helped Columbia Falls hold off Dillon in a rematch of last year's State A title game.

Kaleb Johnson led the Wildcats with just eight points and Kyle Howell chipped in seven.

Dillon, which won last year's title game, outscored Columbia Falls 12-8 in the fourth, but couldn't make up the five-point deficit it faced heading into the final quarter.

Trevor Rehm had 14 points to lead the Beavers.

At Ronan, junior guard Rodee Anderson scored 24 points to lead Southwestern A favorite Corvallis over Northwestern A Polson.

Sophomore guard Riley Bradshaw added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Blue Devils and Drew Zeiler had 16 points before fouling out.

Tim Rausch scored 14 points to pace the Pirates.
