The Spartans remained unbeaten by limiting the Yellowjackets to 12 points in the second half of a nonconference matchup at the Sentinel gym.

Sentinel (5-0) led 30-19 at intermisison, then outscored Stevi (2-3) 33-12 in the second half.

Olivia Roberts led Sentinel with 11 points and Brianna Olson added 10.

Alycia Sims led Stevensville with seven points.

At Frenchtown, Vanessa Stavish led the Broncs as Frenchtown rallied to the Northwestern A victory.

Stavish scored 19 points for the Broncs, who trailed by six at halftime before opening the second half on a 16-9 run.

Kayla Blood added 12 points for Frenchtown, which moved to 1-1, 2-3.

Jessica Bagnell came off the bench to score 12 for the Pirates (0-1, 0-4).

At Corvallis, Dani Baker scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter to help Missoula Big Sky pull away to a nonconference win.

The Western AA Eagles, 3-2, entered the final 8 minutes in a 26-26 deadlock with the Southewestern A Blue Devils (1-4).

Carly Jessop scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Corvallis. Lakyn Connors added 10 points for the Blue Devils.

At Columbia Falls, Haley Belgarde and the Northwestern A Wildkats edged pesky District 7-B Eureka.

Belgarde scored 18 points as Columbia Falls improved to 4-1.

Columbia Falls led by seven at the half before holding on down the stretch.

Alyssa White and Cassidy Morgan scored 12 points apiece for the Lions (1-3).

At Troy, Jordan Williams led the District 7-B Trojans past Northwestern A Libby.

Williams scored 11 points for Troy, which switched from zone to man-to-man defense after Libby’s Hailey Craig drained a pair of first-half 3-pointers.

Alanah True-Silva added nine for the Trojans (2-2).

Craig led the Loggers (0-4) with nine points.
