CATS ANNOUNCE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK 8

Wildcat Football announces its Player's of the Week, for Week 8 of the 2009 season. These young men exemplified our commitment to quality and excellence both on and off the field.
Congratulations to the following Players who will be the recipients of a complementary meal from Tien's Oriental Dining located at 329 9th St W Columbia Falls, MT 892-1585. Thanks again to Tien for his tremendous support of Wildcat Athletics:
Offensive Player of the Game: John Woody: John rushed for 96yds on 10 carries to help the Cats control both clock and field position helping to set up to 1yd touchdown runs by Mitchell Wassam.
Defensive Players of the Game: Kaleb Johnson: Kaleb returned an interception for a touchdown to spark the Wildcats in a 34-6 victory over the non-conference opponent.
Special Teams Player of the Game: Mitchell Wassam and Kyle Howell: Mitch kicked 3 field goals in the Wildcat's win against Freeman High School in Washington. Kyle returned a Freeman Kick Off 86yds for a touchdown on the opening play of the game to give the Cats a fast start.
Scout Player of the Week: Cody Hader: Cody did a great job this week of simulating our opponent's offensive and defensive schemes on the Scout team Offense and Defense for last week's preparation for Freeman. Week in and week out we are only as good as the people that we practice against and Cody gave us a great look this week on our Scout Teams. |
