CATS BEAT LIBBY--55-31! TOOK 3RD IN CONFERENCE.  WILL PLAY AT ANACONDA NEXT SATURDAY.  DARLING HAD 4 TD'S!  KING, PRESNELL AND MORGAN EACH HAD ONE TD.  PRESNELL HAD A 32 YD FG AND 6 FOR 6 PAT'S!

Columbia Falls 55, Libby 21

At Columbia Falls, Zach Darling’s four touchdown runs propelled the Wildcats to the Northwestern A win over Libby.

Jared Trinastich passed for two scores, hitting Colin King for a 24-yard strike in the second quarter and Alex Presnell for a 2-yarder in the third.

Columbia Falls’ first points came on a safety early in the first quarter.

Jared Winslow led Libby with four touchdown passes.

The Wildcats improved to 2-2 in league play and 4-4 overall. They will travel to Anaconda next week for a first-round playoff game. Libby ended its season at 0-4, 3-6.
