CATS GET NEW FOOTBALL COACH

By Terry Werner of Columbia Falls High SchoolNew CFalls Activities Director, Troy Bowman, announced the new head football coach is Jackson Schweikert. He is moving here from Mount Vernon Washington. He took over that program four years ago. It is a high school with around 2000 students. They had 68 kids go out for football his first year. He is leaving the program with 147 participants this past year. They also lead the State of Washington offensively with over 500 yards per game. He has been a head coach a total of 17 years and has seen this same type of success at two previous high schools in Idaho. Firth Idaho is one that comes to mind. Jackson and his Wife Suzy, sophomore son Ike, eighth grade daughter KJ, fourth grade daughter Hannah, and second grade son Cody will be here Friday or Saturday of this week. Jackson will be teaching Boys Health Enhancement at the high school. Jackson played college ball at Idaho State University.
