Home » Football NewsMark Rodgers Playoff Predictions for Class 6A-5ANovember 2, 2011 By VYPE Oklahoma of VYPE MAGAZINE - OklahomaClass 6A - Some important games on the east side of the state in the final week of the regular season. Norman has the chance to send Jenks on the road in the playoffs with a victory. Norman has trouble throwing the football so I gave the edge to Jenks in that one. Feel like the Trojans can stop an attack based primarily on the run. Union at Stillwater is another big one. I lean to the Redskins here based on experience and defense but recognize the Pioneers are a dangerous team. Southmoore and Sand Springs should sneak in on points to secure 4th spots in their district. I see the Sandites winning at Bixby.
Westmoore at Midwest City Norman at Owasso Sand Springs at Broken Arrow Norman North at Lawton Lawton Ike at Santa Fe Stillwater at Jenks Southmoore at Union Edmond North at Yukon Class 5A - Not much change in projections here. Duncan beat Ardmore and as a result, moves into the 2nd spot in 5A-2. Booker T has a shot at moving up in 5A-3 but would have to beat undefeated McAlester by 9 points. Congratulations to the Pryor Tigers who clinched the 5A-4 district title. You can make a great argument that the Tigers are the biggest surprise of any team in any class. Great year!
Durant at Guthrie Booker T. Washington at East Central Central at McAlester Deer Creek at Duncan Ada at Lawton Mac Coweta at Bishop Kelley Collinsville at Pryor Ardmore at Carl Albert
