Media Day Huge Success in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - The 2011 VYPE fall sports Media Day held at the Jim Thorpe Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City last Sunday brought teams from as far away as Woodward in for the event. 

"I can't think of a better place to host an event like this. The Jim Thorpe Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame is a state treasure and to bring the athletes here for media day is a perfect fit," said VYPE Publisher Austin Chadwick. 

Fall sports teams from many area schools were on hand for photos, video and interviews that were broadcast live at vypeok.com. 

"It was a great turnout and we would like to thank all of the parents, players and coaches that came to the event. Our hope is to continue these for the winter and spring sports in the coming months," said Editorial Director Brad Heath.
