Lankford’s squad rode a wave of
momentum into the offseason after
upsetting Midwest City in the first
round of the playoffs a year ago. The
Bombers went into that playoff game
undefeated. “It was a great win,”
Lankford said. “We need to build on
that this year. We’ve had a successful
offseason program.” Quarterback
Trevor Thompson, a two-year
starter, is one of eight players back
on offense. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound
Thompson accounted for 1,500 yards
last season and is capable.........
