The senior will follow in his brother's footsteps as older brother John is currently the starting cornerback for the Golden Hurricane. John was famous for intercepting the pass on the final play of the Golden Hurricane victory over Notre Dame in 2010. James has been recruited by many schools as a defensive back and Tulsa has signed him as a running back. Last Flanders ran for over 1,600 yards as the Bombers tailback, scoring 22 times.
