May 25, 2011By VYPE Oklahoma of VYPE MAGAZINE - Oklahoma
Oklahoma City, OK—MAY 25th, 2011—VYPE Oklahoma announces its release of the summer issue of Oklahoma’s VYPE University (VYPE-U) Magazine.
VYPE-U will be the first of three Oklahoma statewide publications that will hit the newsstands in 2011 from VYPE Oklahoma. The Oklahoma High School Football Preview and the Oklahoma High School Basketball Preview will hit newsstands in July and November respectively in 2011 as well. VYPE-U will be on sale in mid-May at all participating retailers including Wal-Mart, Borders, Barnes N’ Noble, Hastings and other high traffic retailers.
VYPE-U breaks down the Big XII extensively with the conference preview as well as a look at VYPE’s national top 25.
VYPE-U will give the most extensive 2011 football preview on the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Tulsa. With 10-pages of features on the three FBS schools in Oklahoma that include player bios, 2011 recruiting, schedules, coaching bios, and extensive state research, this will be a must read for all media personnel and fans alike. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen writes exclusively for VYPE on the impact of spread offenses and how they are being adopted from college to the NFL.
VYPE-U will present a publication that not only covers the big schools of Oklahoma, but all colleges in Oklahoma. From NEO to East Central, Northeastern State to the University of Central Oklahoma, if a college in Oklahoma competes in football at any level, you will find an extensive preview on the 2011 football season. VYPE thanks all schools and SIDs around the state for their help in collaborating all the information needed.
Along with the unprecedented Oklahoma college football coverage, VYPE-U al
so stays to its roots of covering high school athletes by announcing the 2011 college signings list for all athletes who signed letters of intent, regardless of sport, to play collegiately next year. Who were the top recruits in their respective sports in Oklahoma in 2011? That question and more will be answered in VYPE-U.
