Jacob Strassle led the way for the Broncos with 22 pts. Mustang is now 14-2 and has won 7 in a row. The Broncos will be tested Friday when the travel to play third ranked Edmond Santa Fe. That game will be televised on Cox channel 3. #4 Woodward cruised past Washington to claim the title at the Newcastle Invitational 65-42. Sharpshooter Seth Heckart led the way for the Boomers knocking down 22 points, Drake Smithton added 16. Class A showdown at the Glencoe Tournament saw #5 Okarche top #2 Frontier 73-67. Warriors had 4 players in double figures led by Austin Kretchmar who had 19. Gonzaga commit Ryan Spangler had 20 points 23 rebounds and 15 blocked shots but it wasn't enough as #3 Bridge Creek lost for the first time falling to Duncan 54-42. In girls action, # 1 Midwest City trailed at half against #7 Del City, but rallied behind 20 points from Junior Ashley Clark to claim the Titan Classic at Carl Albert 56-47. Joh'Vonna Mitchell hit the game winner at the buzzer as Putnam City North claimed the title in the Girls championship of the Bruce Gray Invitational over 5A number one Bishop McGuiness 44-42.
