Big games on Saturday

The second round of Kansas high school playoffs are on tap Saturday and there is no shortage of big matchups.
In Class 4A, the Buhler Crusaders and Abilene Cowboys match 10-0 record in a game at Abilene. Buhler's Tanner Fisher has rushed for around 2,000 yards this season.
Also in 4A, Mulvane (8-2) travels to Topeka to face No. 1.-ranked Hayden. Mulvane quarterback Ty Redington has over 2,300 yards of total offense this season.
Andale (5-5) and Rose Hill (9-1) match up for the second time this season, while Hesston (8-2) is at home against Ulysses (9-1).
Andale has won five straight games after starting the season 0-5 and will be looking to avenge a 42-7 loss to Rose Hill on Sept. 16. Hesston has a couple of big-time skill players in quarterback Trevor Pauls anmd running back Kyle Perry.
In Class 3A, the battle of the Cardinals takes place Saturday at Sedgwick (10-0) plays at Conway Springs (9-1). Sedgwick is led by quarterback Trent Stucky, who accounted for five TDs last week against Hillsboro. Conway Springs has three players averaging over 10 yards a carry.
Collegiate (8-2) has won eight straight after an 0-2 start. The Spartans are led by quarterback Markus Phox, who has accounted for nearly 2,000 yards of total offense. Garden Plain (9-1) scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to knock off SE-Saline on Tuesday.
In Eight-Man I, defending champion Madison (10-0) plays at pass-happy Central-Burden (9-1) in a quarterfinal game, while South Haven and Hope match 10-0 records today at Hope in Eight-Man II.
