Kendrian Elliott, Kirea Rogers and Madison Honeycutt combined for 34 points and 30 rebounds Tuesday night, leading Wichita South to a 38-32 upset victory over Wichita Heights, ending the Falcons' 56-game winning streak.

Elliott, a freshman, scored 13 points, while Rogers had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Northcutt added 10 points and 12 boards.

The victory boosted the No. 5-ranked (6A) Titans to 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the Wichita City League, while No. 1-ranked Heights dropped to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the league.

The 56-game winning streak by Heights - the two-time defending 6A state champions - tied for the fourth-longest in Kansas high school history with McPherson.  Only Little River (91), Olpe (76) and Hiawatha (60) had longer winning streaks.
