Kapaun tops Northwest

Audrey Grant had 10 kills and Sydney Kuhn added nine to lead Kapaun Mt. Carmel to a 25-23, 25-15 win over Wichita Northwest on Tuesday at Kapaun. Grant had eight kills and a stuff block in an earlier  25-15, 25-13 win over Wichita East.

Northwest, which beat East 26-24, 25-21, owns a 23-2 record with both losses to Kapaun. Northwest will play host to Kapaun on Oct. 2.

Gabby Torline added six kills for the Crusaders.
