Herring replaces Taylor at Southeast

Melvin Herring has been named the head boys' basketball coach at Wichita Southeas after serving as an assistant at the school under Carl Taylor.

Taylor spent 20 years at Southeast and led the Buffaloes to three Class 6A titles while posting a 345-146 record during his time at the City League school.
