Team Wrestling State Finals This Weekend

With individual wrestling state champions crowned last weekend at Conseco Fieldhouse, the focus turns to the team tournament at Center Grove this Saturday.

Wrestling is set to begin at 10 a.m. with two ranked Central Indiana programs squaring off in the quarterfinals. No. 6 Roncalli and No. 2 Perry Meridian will meet in the first round. Meanwhile, No. 11 Lawrence North will face unranked Delphi in the quarterfinals.

Semifinals and the state championship match will take place after the quarterfinals.

Time: Quarterfinals begin at 10 am ET with semifinal round and championship round to follow.
Admission: $8.
Advancement: This is a single elimination tournament in which the winning team shall advance to the next round.

Match 1: No. 6 Roncalli vs. No. 2 Perry Meridian.
Match 2: No. 4 Penn vs. No. 9 Bellmont.
Match 3: No. 3 Evansville Mater Dei vs. No. 1 Crown Point.
Match 4: Delphi vs. No. 11 Lawrence North.

Semifinals
Match 5: Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2.
Match 6: Winner of Match 3 vs. Winner of Match 4.

Championship
Match 7: Winner of Match 5 vs. Winner of Match 6.
