By popular demand, VYPE Magazine (Central Indiana) is expanding its Triple Play section to the Internet! Not just for print, VYPE’s Triple Play will appear online twice every month, highlighting three student-athletes from our nine-county coverage area.

This week, VYPE is asking 10 random questions to three student-athletes from Indianapolis Arsenal Tech High School.

Recently, we talked with William Lee, a 6-foot-2, 274-pound senior defensive tackle. Lee has verbally committed to Ball State University and is a two-year varsity letterman in football. He was named All-City and All-Conference at his position in 2011. A team captain this season, Lee has played football since his freshman year. He loves playing football because of its life lessons and how the game teaches individuals how to deal with adversity. “Things don’t always go your way, but you have to keep playing and fighting just like in life.”

Trey Holifield, a senior wide receiver, is our second Triple Play participant. The football team’s leading receiver this season, Holifield has played football since he was six years old. He loves the thrill of Friday night’s, feeds off the energy of the crowd and has aspirations of playing college football.

Tech sophomore Kevin Dillon is our third player. A lineman, Dillon has helped the Titans amass a 5-1 record this season. Tech opened the year 3-0 and is riding a two-game winning streak into Week 8.

Lee – I love Friday nights. I love being able to compete against others schools and making plays.
