Varsity Takes Southern Boone (9.7.10)

The Varsity took the lead against Southern Boone with some great serving from Savannah Angell (Junior, setter).  Unfortunately, the Varsity team also suffered from the ankle injury of Molly Maddox after receiving a serve, and made some mistakes serve receiving for a while.  Paige Horton (Junior, DS) brought us back into the game with some tough serving, and Chelsea Davis (Junior, DS) finished off the set with hers.  Centralia took Southern Boone 25-18 in the first set.

In the second set, Centralia was able to run ahead of Southern Boone with Rachel Beck (Junior, RH) serving, and we were able to finish the job with serving runs from Savannah Angell and Paige Horton. We ended the set with a score of 25-8.  

Centralia plays this week, Monday (9.13) against Mexico at home, and Tuesday (9.14) at Hannibal.
