Dollens Leads Centralia to South Shelby Title

The Centralia Panther boys golf team broke a 15 year drought last Friday when they won the South Shelby Invitational by a convincing 9 shots.

Dakyn Dollens shot a 2 over par 74 to claim tournament medalist honors, Tyler Martin (89), Justin Benson (91), Michael Robertson (97) and Shane Henry (100) rounded out the scoring for the Panthers.  Centralias team score of 351 bested the home Cardinals 360 - who claimed 2nd place.  Palmyra (367), Scotland County (378), Highland (379), Macon (389), Monroe City (396) and Paris (424) rounded out the field.

The Panthers next head to Palmyra on Monday for the Clarence Cannon Conference meet.
