While Delmar Stadium is used to hosting the nationally-ranked Jack Yates Lions basketball team, the inner city facility hosted several NBA athletes who are awaiting the end of their lockout.
Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose was on hand, but did not play, He did watch the likes of DeAndre Jordan, Kenneth Faried, Kyle Lowery, Mike James, Marcus Camby and Luis Scola among others at the John Lucas' NBA Lockout Celebrity Charity game.
Over 5,000 fans were in attendance as well as local celeb Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans. Moses Malone and Robery Horry were celeb coaches.
