Class 4A Playoff Predictions

DIVISION I

Magnolia West vs Georgetown: VYPE is a huge fan of Coach Bell and Magnolia West, but Georgetown is 10-0 and has their sites on a deep playoff run. West has been banged up all season with injuries. Good to get into the playoffs. GTown Wins.

Summer Creek vs Vidor: A pair of stud teams at 10-0 and 9-1 respectively. Vidor is physical and Creek is finesse. Too much Aaron Sharp and the skills for Vidor, so Creek wins, but must cut down on penalties.

Reagan vs Tomball: Tomball’s move to Class 4A was the right one. They didn’t dominate but their Class 5A sked did prepared them for district and playoffs. Cougars win with depth.

Angleton vs Friendswood: Angleton must stop Friendswood’s Jordan Wood to have a chance. The Wildcats do and knock off FWood in thriller.

Montgomery vs Connally: A pair of 7-3 teams go at in in College Station. The Bears have a tougher district and win the day.

Nederland vs Dayton: How does Dayton handle a devastating loss to Summer Creek to lose the district championship? With another loss in the first-round to Nederland.

Stratford vs Waltrip: Spartan Power wins big against overmatched Waltrip. Over by halftime.

Dawson vs Foster: Eagles are No. 1 team in Class 4A for a reason. Dawson wins big but great season for Foster.

DIVISION II

Huntsville vs Manor: Hornets win due to tough district

Crosby vs Ozen: Crosby beats an athletic Ozen team. Close one

North Forest vs Ridge Point: Now we will see how good North Forest Is? The win

Terry vs Goose Creek: Too many athletes at Terry. Rangers win

Brenham vs Elgin: No first-round exit for Cubs this year.

Barbers Hill vs Livingston: The Hill wins but need injured players back for Round 2.

Marshall vs Sharpstown: The Buffs crush the Apollos. Looking for big playoff run.

Texas City vs Lamar Consol: At home the Stings win.
