Home » Football NewsOffers Starting to Roll into HoustonApril 24, 2012 By Matt Malatesta of VYPE MAGAZINE - Central HoustonFootball in the city of Houston is preparing for spring football, which means college recruiters are setting up their airline reservations to visit one of the top talent hot beds in the country.
Some schools have been busy laying seeds throughout Houston and one in particular is the University of Colorado. The Buffs were first to offer The Woodlands offensive lineman Jonathan Huckins and the first to offer his teammate Sam Kronshage, also an offensive lineman.
The 6-foot-6 Kronshage received his first offer from Colorado, but recently visited Ole Miss last weekend and is receiving interest from Oklahoma State and Wake Forest.
"I'm really excited about getting my first offer from Colorado and I really like their program," he said. "I'll always remember that the Buffs offered first."
Stratford's offensive lineman Christian Daimler was also offered by Colorado, who are the first to have offered the Spartan big-man.
La Porte athlete Keith Whitely has also been hearing from several school across the country. Utah, Texas Tech, New Mexico and Texas State are all nearing an offer.
