THE WONDERTWINS Aaron and Andrew Harrison Stole the Hoop Headlines in 2011-12
HOUSTON: Fort Bend Travis and Aaron and Andrew Harrison lived up to the hype in 2011-12, reaching the state tournament final and anchoring the All-VYPE Houston Hoop Team. It's no wonder that they are coveted by virtually every big-time basketball in the country.
All of Houston's stars showed brightly in 2011-12, but Travis guard Aaron Harrison was a supernova. The Harrsion twins led Travis to their first-ever state championship appearance and showed why they are the top 2013 prospects in the country. The names Rose, Ridley, Sulaimon, Santee and House will be forever remembered for their play on the Houston hardwoods.
Three Houston hoop squads reached the state tournament but all three came home empty-handed. Dekaney, Cy Falls and Barbers Hill dominated the Houston hoop scene and Golden Eagle Loryn Goodwin was named the Player of the Year.
Flipping to the baseball and softball beat, VYPE features two of the top prospects in the country. One a senior set to choose between the MLB and TCU and one a freshman getting her legs at Pearland High School.
Next month will be our Spring Football Edition so keep reading and supporting our sponsors.
See you at the games,
