Favorite Athletic Memory: I have a lot of fond memories of my athletic career at Center. The friendships I made and the shared experiences shaped my life. I have two favorite memories of my 4 years at Center. The first one happened when I was a sophomore and I helped my team break the school record and win the 4x400 meter relay. I got the baton 100+ meters behind Southeast's girl and took off to catch her. I passed her along the back stretch and when I passed her she said "Dang". I kept hearing her say "Dang. Dang." as I increased the distance between us. We won the meet. My second favorite memory was winning the 400 meter at the State Meet and breaking the State record my senior year. I had won the race my junior year and missed breaking the record by .18 seconds - so my goal my senior year was to win again and break the record. After my race the timer came up to me to show my time and I was so happy and relieved because I had accomplished my goal and broke the record with a 55.77.
