Diving Dogs place well at Van Wert Diving Inv.

Van Wert Diving Invitational

Nine Celina Diving Dogs took part in the Van Wert Holiday Diving Invtational on Tuesday, December 27.  The competition was the first of the season using the 'eleven dive' format.  Dive coach Dave Koester's Bulldogs faired well as all nine divers placed in the 'top 11'.  For the Ladies Olivia Schlotterer was 'Top Dog' as she placed 2nd, totaling 299.35 points.  Dethora Hasenjager was 5th with 286.15, Julia Folk 8th with 242.35, Claire Schmitmeyer 10th with 223.40 and Jamie Miller 11th with 205.40.  On the Guys side Collen Byer was CHS's highest placer, taking 2nd amassing 376.35 ponts.  Charlie Folk was 6th earning 259.35 points, Tye Spengler right behind in 7th with 251.60, and Leyton Schoen in 11th with 188.30.  The divers are back in action Monday, Jan 2 at Jay County.
