Celina Track Athletes competing at the collegiate level, and beyond, during the 2008-09 school year.

Shawn Caruso - Universiry of Findlay NCAA Division II - senior - Middle Distance: Shawn did not compete this week.  Next up...the 2009 cross-country season. 

Jenna Schmitmeyer - Ball State University NCAA Division I - senior - 400 Hurdles / middle distance: Jenna placed 7th in the 400-meter hurdles (62.18 - a career fastest time in prelims, 64.32 in a rain drenched/flooded final) at the Mid American Conference Championship Meethosted by Akron University on May 14-16.  She was also a member of the BSU 4 x 400 relay.  Next up...the 2009-10 indoor season.
    

Ben Siebert - Bluffton University NCAA Division III - senior - Middle Distance: Ben ran 4:43.57 as he placed 17th in the 1500m run at the Heartland Conference Meet on April 25.  he later placed 20th in the 800m run with a clocking of 2:14.84  Next up...the 2009 cross-country season.

Brad Siebert - Capital University NCAA Division III - senior - Middle Distance: Brad did nnot run in the OAC Championship Meet.  Next up...the 2009 cross-country season.  


Lindsey Schmitmeyer - University of Findlay NCAA Division II- junior - Middle Distance: Lindsey ran a career fastest and NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifying time of 2:11.97 in placing 13th at the NCAA Division II National Championship Meet in San Angelo, TX on May 22.  Nezt up...the 2009-10 indoor track season.


Eryn Langenkamp - Youngstown State University NCAA Division I - sophomore - hurdles / jumps / pole vault: Eryn has concluded her 2009 track season.  Next up...2009-10 indoor season in December. 


Melissa Roth - Malone University NAIA - sophomore - Distance: Melissa did not run this weekend.  Next up...the 2009 cross-country season.


Julie Snyder - University of Toledo NCAA Division I - sophomore - multi-event (heptathlon and pentathlon): Julie placed 6th in the Mid American Conference Championship Meet heptathlon on May 14-16.  Julie totaled 4695 points from her 7 events over the 2-day heptathlon. (DAY 1: 100IH - season best 14.93 - 851 pts; HJ - career best 5' 6" - 830 pts; SP - career best 32' 6.25" - 524 pts; 200 dash - 26.40 - 763 pts; DAY 2: LJ - season best 18' 1.5" - 706 pts; javelin - 82' 11" - 387 pts; 800 run - career best 2:34.83 - 634 pts)   Next up...the 2009-10 indoor track season.
