Saturday, April 2 the Celina Runnin' Bulldogs hosted their annual invitational, featuring six members of the Western Buckeye League.  The meet serves an early season preview of the WBL.  The cool, blustery day did not prevent some outstanding efforts.  In the end Celina's balance and depth enabled the Runnin' Bulldogs to claim both the Men's and Women's team titles.  The Women overcame an early deficit to outscore Defiance 166 to 150. Ottawa-Glandorf was 3rd with 78, followed by Elida (48), Bath (45), and Wapakoneta (36).  The Men won by a more comfortable margin, tallying 189 points to runner-up Bath's 88.  OG (76), Defiance (58), Elida (57), and Wapak (55) completed the field.

Highlighting Celina's day were 6 Women's victories and 8 Men's first place results.  Individually Hannah Fleck and Derek Jones were CHS's double winners.  Hannah took 1st in both the 1600 and 800 meter runs, while Derek claimed the shot put and discus titles.  Steffan Miller crossed first in the 110HH, Logan Laux the 200, Janson Finkbeiner the pole vault, Andy Sutter the 100, Lizz Carr the HJ, and Kayla Fortkamp the SP.  Janson, Kayla, Steffan had career best efforts.  The Guys dominated the sprint relays with wins in both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 events.  The Ladies took first in both the 4 x 800 and 4 x 400 relays.
