Runnin' Bulldogs tested at the Napoleon Invitational.

Girls 2nd, Boys 3rd
On Saturday, April 19 the Runnin' Bulldogs traveled north to Napoleon for its first ever participation in the Napoleon Wildcat Invitational. In its toughest test of the current season, the Dogs finished 2nd in the Girls division and 3rd in the Boys. Eight highly competitive programs took part.
On the distaff side of the meet, Celina's Runnin' Women earned 123 points, 30 shy of the winning total of Wauseon (153). The third spot went to Perrysburg with 111. Leading the way for the Gals was Bekah Carr. She WON 3 events and took 2nd in a fourth. Bekah's wins came in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and long jump, with the runner-up coming in the pole vault. Emily Jackson finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles, 3rd in the 100 hurdles, 4th in the pole vault. Other top 3 placers were Alyssa Hoyng (2nd in the high jump), Paige Sutter (3rd in the shot), Autum Brehm (3rd in the discus), and the 4 x 200 relay quartet of Alayna Webb, Megan Imwalle, Holli Brackman, and Kendra Fennig.
In the men's portion of the meet, CHS accumulated 95 points. A strong Eastwood side scored 157.5 to take the team title, with runner-up accolades going to Archbold (105.5). Cole Mertz and Sam Phares were 'Top Dogs' for the guys. Cole ran to 2nd place finish in the 800 run and a 3rd in the 1600 run. Sam picked up the Bulldogs' only event WIN as he took the pole vault. Stefan Chittum finished 3rd in the hih jump, 4th in the 300 hurdles, and 8th in the 110 hurdles. All four Boys relays crossed the line in 3rd.
The Bulldogs have a busy week ahead of them, with meets at home vs Elida on Monday, at Jay County on Thursday, Prom on Friday, and at Upper Sandusky Invitational on Saturday.
