Swimmin' Men defeat Versailles and Minster!

Celina/Minster/Versailles Tri Meet!
Friday, Dec 6, Celina's Waterdogs headed to the Greenville YMCA for a tri meet with quality Minster and Versailles contingents. The three-way contest looked to be a real test for head coach Matt May's Dogs, and the final results validated. On the Men's side, Celina took top honors, outscoring runner-up Versailles 131 to 121, with Minster tallying 46. The Ladies' winner was Versailles with 143, followed by Minster with 88, and CHS with 72.
For the evening's efforts Celina had three event winners. Tyus Temple picked up the Waterdogs' only individual win, as he touched first in the 200 individual medley. The Ladies' only win came via the 200 free relay comprised of Megan Muhlenkamp, Maddy Weininger, Cami Dzendzel, and Michaela Wenning. The Guys 400 free relay quartet of Hagan Kriegel, Tyus Temple, Ryan Miller, and Jared Fleagle was also a first place finisher.
Runner-up placings came from: Paige Sutter (500 free), Grant Guggenbiller (200 IM, 100 back), Ryan Miller (200 free, 50 free), Jared Fleagle (100 fly), Tyus Temple (500 free), Garrett Weininger (100 breast), and the Boys 200 medley relay.
Taking 3rd were: Michaela Wenning (200 IM, 100 fly), Megan Muhlenkamp (50 free, 100 breast), Cami Dzendzel (100 free), Lane McCarter (200 IM), Mason Baker (200 free), Hagan Kriegel (50 free), Garrett Weininger (100 fly), Derrick Spitler (100 free), Ian Darras (500 free), the Girls 400 free relay, and the Boys 200 free relay.
The Waterdogs are off for awhile before competing in the Lima Holiday Invitational on Dec 28.
