September 19, 2013By Daniel Otten of Celina High School
On Saturday, September 14, Celina's Runnin' Bulldogs took advantage of perfect weather and course conditions to post season and career best times. Eaton's Fort Saint Clair Park was the site for the annual Eaton Cross-Country Invitational. CHS's trip to Eaton was its first in a decade, and the return was well worth it. The meet atmosphere, weather, course, and competition set the table for great possibilities. EVERY Bulldog who traversed the 5000m course took advantage and competed well. All 24 runners crossed the finish line with season fastest times. In fact, 12 of the Dogs posted career fastest marks.
