Four Diving Dogs Qualify to State!

DISTRICT DIVING REPORT!

Olivia, Samantha, Collen, Chandler to State!

Wednesday, February 13, five Celina divers took part in the OHSAA BGSU Division II Diving District.  Three Girls and two Boys hit the board, looking for a spot in the February 20 Division II State Diving Championship Meet.  For the Girls, the top 10 placers at Dsitrict would earn a State birth, while for the Boys a top 11 position would be good enough.  Dave Koester's CHS divers continued a tradition of success at the District level as four of the five Bulldog divers dived well enough to advance to State.  Olivia Schlotterer finished 3rd and Samantha Ringo took 9th in the Ladies event, with Collen Byer getting 3rd and Chandler Kimmel 8th in the Guys.  The four will compete at the State meet on Wednesday, Feb 20th at the Canton C T Branin Natatorium.  The Girls go at 9:00 AM. The Boys dive at 2:00.  Jamie Miller completed her CHS diving career with a 28th place result.
