Five Bulldogs take part in first indoor track meet of the winter!

Indoor Track at Findlay!

Sunday, January 20, five Celina Tracksters traveled to the University of Findlay for participation in a H S indoor track meet.  Bekah Carr, Michaela Wenning, Gina Strable, Sam Phares and Mikel Martinez represented the Green and White.

Gina placed 2nd in her two events, running a career fastest 8.28 for the 60 meter dash (8.42 in the prelim), and leaping a career indoor best 16' 7" in the long jump (second best in CHS indoor history).

Bekah Carr WON the HJ, clearing 5' 3" (previous personal best 5' 0"), then placed 3rd in the 60 meter hurdles with a personal best 9.92 (10.04 in prelim), and finshed her day with a 5th place in the PV, clearing 8' 0".

Michaela Wenning, in her first indoor meet ever, took 2nd in the HJ at 5'2" (her best outdoor is 5' 2"), and 4th in the 60 meter hurdles at 9.94 (9.43 in prelim).

Sam Phares was 5th in the PV with a height of 12' 0".  The height ties for second best in CHS indoor history.

Mikel Martinez was 16th in the SP at 40' 0"
