Waterdogs at Jay County!
Thursday, Jan 3 the Celina Waterdogs traveled to Portland, IN for a tri meet with Jay County and Fort Recovery. The Waterdogs defeated Fort Recovery, while losing to Jay County in a closely contested dual.
Celina's Swimmin' Women dropped a close 48-54 decision to the host Jay County Patriots, while defeating Fort Recovery 87-14. The scores are somewhat in question as the results for the final event (400 free relay) were in question. 'Top Dog' efforts were turned in by the WINNING efforts of Olivia Schlotterer (dive), Kandace Eichenauer (500 free) and the 200 medley relay. Runner-up placers for CHS include Samantha Ringo (dive), Kandace (200 free), Brooke Mertz (50 and 100 free), Michaela Wenning (100 back), Megan Muhlenkamp (100 breast), the 200 free relay, and 400 free relay.
The Guys fell to Jay Co with an identical score as the Gals, 48-54, and out scored Fort Recovery 66-33. Heading the Bulldog performances were FIRST PLACE FINISHERS Collen Byer (dive), Kasyn Fishbaugh (50 free and 100 breast), Tyus Temple (100 fly), and the 200 free relay. Taking second were Chandler Kimmel (dive), Hagan Kriegel (200 free), Ryan Miller (100 free), Tyus (100 back), and the 200 medley relay.
COMPLETE RESULTS may be found in the 'Document' section.
