Waterdogs fall to Versailles in dual meet action!

Celina vs Versailles!

Saturday, December 22 Celina's Waterdogs hosted Versailles in a dual meet at the Auglaize/Mercer County YMCA.  The meet was the first home event of the 2012-13 season for CHS.  Both the Gals and Guys competitions were close, not being decided until the final two events.  The Swimmin' Women dropped a 88-95 decision, while the Men fell 81-102. 

The Girls WON 4 of their 12 events, with 5 seconds.  Michaela Wenning was a double winner, taking the 200 free and 100 fly.  Olivia Schlotterer was tops in diving.  Kandace Eichenauer swam her fastest 500 free of the year in taking the event.  Runner-up placers were Brooke Mertz (50 free), Megan Muhlenkamp (100 breast), and all three relays.

The Boys had a pair of double winners, and one single champion.  Tyus Temple and Kasyn Fishbaugh continue to lead the Dogs as they touched first in both of their individual swims.  Tyus won the 200 and 100 free, with Kasyn taking the 50 free and 100 breast.  Collen amassed the most points in diving.  Taking second place points were all three relays, Chandler Kimmel (dive), and Kerry Jutte (100 back).
