2012 OSHAA State Track & Field Championship Meet!

Friday and Saturday, June 1-2.

The Ohio State University.

Eight Celina Runnin' Women embark on a journey to the OHSAA State Track & Field Championship Meet the weekend of June 1-2.  The ladies earned the right via their top flight performances at last weekend's Regional Championship.

Action begins for the CHS Women on Friday morning, 9:30 as Lizz Carr takes the high jump apron in quest of a State Title.  At 1:30 Michaela Wenning, Emily Dorsten, Bekah Carr, and Hannah Fleck compete in the 4 x 800 relay final.  Running in Friday's preliminary races are Lexi Mills (100 hurdles - 2:00, and the 300 hurdles - 3:20), Hannah, Lexi, Lizz and Gina Strable (Megan Imwalle - alt.)(4 x 200 relay), and 4 of the following; Lexi, Michaela, Bekah, Lizz and Hannah (4 x 400 relay).  The top 2 finishers in each prelim heat as well as the next 5 fastest times advance to Saturday's finals.  On Saturday Gina takes part in the long jump at 9:00.  Lexi and the relays hope to qualify and run at 1:00 (100 hurdles), 1:15 (4 x 200), 2:10 (300 hurdles), 3:10 ( 4 x 400 relay).  Hannah shoots for a State Title in the 800 at 2:25.

Seniors Lexi Mills, Lizz Carr, and Hannah Fleck  are wrapping up stellar careers for the Bulldogs as each have had multiple Western Buckeye League, District and Regional championships.
